    C/I INTERNSHIPS:

    Successful high school juniors and seniors from our year-long programs apply for paid summer internships at top tech companies. Interns utilize their front-end coding, prototyping, software testing, and leadership skills to gain hands-on work experience and training for a future career.

    • Junior or senior in high school intending to further pursue coding or computer science
    • Participation in C/I small group mentoring and coaching programs
    • Four-week experience from July 11 – August 4

    C/I SHADOWSHIPS:

    Shadowships allow high school sophomores and juniors to spend four days in a tech office shadowing an employee while working on a short project.

    • Sophomore or junior in high school intending to further pursue coding or computer science
    • Participation in C/I small group mentoring and coaching program
    • Four-day experience during the weeks of July 18 or July 25

    INTERN SUPPORT AND TRAINING

    • Quality assurance / software testing training with partner CK-12
    • Year-long program front-end development program with experience in at least HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

    Apply to host an intern with SummerQAmp, the Career/Interactive portion of our program.
    • We only place interns in the New York Metro Area at companies that are accessible by public transportation right now.
      Younger C/I students complete Shadowships, or short internships with fewer responsibilities, to learn about what it's like to work in the professional tech world.
    • If possible, include specific desired skills and identify which department in which the intern would be working. With advance notice, C/I can train interns specifically for your requested type of internship, especially in quality assurance, app development, front-end web development, database organization, marketing, or social media.E-mail Tom@weare.ci with questions about our interns.
